Accommodations

Accommodations are changes made in a school or classroom setting to help a child meet their academic goals.

A number of arrangements can be made in the classroom to facilitate your child’s learning if they qualify for special education services. Accommodations can include extra time for tests/assignments, extra time to get to class, audio recordings, larger text, and more. If your child is struggling academically, consider a consult with one of our occupational therapists to determine potential causes.
