The Art of Language

Language and conversation can take a long time to master. If we think about all the components needed to master the art of communication, it’s can be overwhelming to think about where a child’s language skills need help and how to best support them.

Like most areas of child development, there are many overlapping factors that contribute to success. Similarly, barriers to speech and language development can often impact other developmental areas for children such as eating and drinking, or even present as global difficulties with coordination.

Communication is foundational to social skills and helps form and support some of our most valuable aspects of being human— our relationships. If you have concerns about your child’s conversational skills, it’s my hope that you will reach out to us with a phone call to see how we can help your family.
