Our specialists are dedicated to improving performance and function in a diverse variety of areas; each session is tailored to your child’s strengths and weaknesses.

We have partnered with Kid Ventures Preschool Academy in 4S Ranch to provide pediatric therapy services, including speech therapy, occupational therapy, and physical therapy for kids.

My Kids Place Founder
Chris Callahan MOT, OTR/L

Chris is the founder of My Kids Place. A father of two, and an occupational therapist dedicated to helping children succeed, Chris graduated from the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences. He has since worked in early intervention, schools, and pediatric outpatient settings. 

MKP Speech-Language Pathologist
Vidya Parashar, MS, CCC-SLP

Ms. V is a Speech Language Pathologist with extensive experience working with both children and adults with speech and language disorders. She enjoys working on educating and coaching families as well as working hands on with their little loved ones. Finding creative and routine ways to incorporate articulation, social skills and/or language, etc. into sessions allows families to see how the language can be used across different contexts and with various communication partners. Ms. V has primarily provided services in the pediatric field, serving a variety of populations, ranging from children with Autism spectrum disorder, to Down Syndrome, childhood Apraxia of Speech, Expressive and Receptive language disorders,Alternative and Augmentative Communication (AAC), Articulation and Phonological Disorders, and those with Global Developmental issues. 

In her spare time, Ms. V enjoys spending time with her husband and her pup. She loves relaxing at home, trying new cuisines, and visiting national parks and exploring around the world! 

MKP Speech-Language Pathologist
Courtney Aivati, MS, CCC-SLP

Courtney is a speech language pathologist. She received her Master of Science degree in Communicative Disorders from University of Redlands in 2013. She has worked in a variety of settings including schools, medical and outpatient clinics. Her professional interests include AAC, stuttering and early intervention. She is dedicated to bringing client-centered and compassionate care to all her families.

Keyla Santos, MS, CCC-SLP

Keyla is a Spanish speaking bilingual speech- language pathologist who enjoys working with diverse populations. She takes into account each child’s unique qualities and incorporates  strategies to help them thrive. During her spare time, Keyla enjoys traveling, crocheting, and salsa/ bachata dancing! 

MKP Occupational Therapist
Kate Schooley, MS, OTR/L

Kate is an occupational therapist from the LA area. She received her Master of Science in Occupational Therapy from the University of Puget Sound in 2022. She has experience working in mental health, physical rehabilitation, and pediatric (clinical and school-based) settings. Kate enjoys the holistic aspect of occupational therapy, which supports both physical and mental health.

Adriana Torres, MS, CF-SLP

Ana is a speech-language pathologist from the Bay Area. She received her Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology from CSUSM in 2024. She has worked in the public school setting for 7 years primarily in special education classes. She enjoys working with children of all ages and ability levels.

Alicia Moyer, BS, SLPA

Alicia is a SLPA that received her Bachelors in Communications Sciences and Disorders from California State University Los Angeles in 2021. Her professional interests include Early Intervention, providing compassionate care, and support for caregivers and families. 

MKP Physical Therapist
Shanna Lovit, PT, DPT

Shanna is a physical therapist at My Kids Place. She received her doctorate in PT at University of Southern California in 2013. She has worked in the outpatient setting since graduating, with many years focused on Early Intervention (ages 0-3). She has two small children of her own.

MKP Admin Assistant
Cherie Blickenstaff

Cherie is our full-time administrative assistant. She was trained in Early Childhood Education at Theoria Technical College and has two decades of experience working with children! Cherie enjoys working with young children because they develop so quickly and master each new step with excitement.

Experience in feeding therapy is a plus!
